Tatyana Boyarinova
“There is a world in every bead—luminous and breathing with life. I follow the fire and it shows me beauty.”
Tatyana Boyarinova creates miniature worlds in glass—delicate beads that feel almost alive. Her work is rooted in colour, light, and form, each bead a small universe, forged in flame and shaped with soul. With meticulous skill and an intuitive sense of harmony, she transforms molten glass into nature-inspired treasures, sometimes spending days on a single piece. These beads are tiny talismans—vessels of memory, mood, and meaning. Patterns, textures, and colours weave through them like a language of their own. Some feel like good luck charms, others like fragments of dreams—small, but never simple, each one inviting a closer look and telling quiet stories of transformation.
Tatyana studied book illustration at Moscow State University of Printing Arts, gaining a foundation in composition, proportion, and colour. In 2010, she took a life-changing glass workshop in St. Petersburg and soon began training in Murano under renowned masters including Davide Penso, Mario Vianello, and Roberto Donà.
She went on to teach in Russia, the United States, Germany, France, the UK, Turkey, Israel, and Italy. In 2017, she held her solo exhibition Vita in Vitrum at the Glass Museum in Saint Petersburg, and later contributed to the Museum of Natural History in Venice.
Now based at her Moscow studio, Studio 104, Tatyana continues to develop innovative glasswork, teach internationally, and exhibit her collections. Her work remains a living, evolving art form—driven by curiosity, clarity of vision, and love for the medium.
